Iraqi Singer and Model Klodia Hanna

Klodia Hanna (كلوديا هنّا) better known as Klodia is a Iraqi singer and model. She was born on April 25, 1985 in Baghdad, Iraq. She currently lives in Cairo working on her debut album following the release of her first single in the Egyptian dialect, “Bandam Awy”.

Klodia’s career began through her work at a children’s theater where she worked on stage and in children’s programs in Iraq. She then worked as an announcer for several Jordanian and Iraqi channels. After that, she entered a beauty pageant and won the title of “Miss Abroad” in Syria. It was then she was informed at the age of 14 to start her modelling career. She worked as a model for several years. In 2006, she participated in the Miss Arab World pageant which was held in Sharm Al-Sheikh, Egypt. She entered that contest as “Miss Iraq” and won the title of “Miss Arab”. She is the first Iraqi model to get the title. After the getting the title, she has participated in several charitable works throughout many Arab countries.
She then decided to pursue a career in music. She is currently working on her first album, which contains her lead single, “Bandam Awy” sung in the Egyptian dialect. She has released four other singles from the album, which are all in the Iraqi dialect. Those songs are “Tati Touati”,”Tahdid”, “Ahbak” and “Tejafeny.”
Her single “Bandam Awy” was a great success in the Arab World and the music video for “Bandam Awy” won the award for Best Emerging Singer Oscar International Video Clip.

Iraqi Television Presenter Rosil Al Azawi (رسل العزاوي)

Rosil Al Azawi (رسل العزاوي) is an Iraqi  television presenter based in the United Arab Emirates.Rosil first appeared on screen at the age of 14, on a show called Salam wa kalam, which proved to be very successful throughout the Arab world. She has been in more than 40 successful programs on television, in which she featured in her own tourism show labelled “Rosils Day Out”. Rosil has also been host to many game shows including Mega Show, Al Reef, Taj Land and Have Fun. She has also been interviewed numerous times, recently on air by Rotana hosts on Ya Hala Show. She has also hosted one of the biggest music shows in the Arab world, “Bait Al Nojoom” on Aghani TV. Azawi has also hosted a Music Mix programme for the UAE channel Ajman TV. Rosil is currently hosting a programme called “Feel Free” for Iraqi television channel Al Sharqiya (Wikipedia).

Beautiful Iraqi Singer Shatha Hassoun (شذى حسون)

Shatha Hassoun very cute and talented Iraqi singer. Shatha Amjad Hassoun Alshamery was born in Casablanca, Morocco  on 3 March 1981, to an Iraqi father and Moroccan mother. Her father is from Al-Hilla and he is a well-known reporter, her mother, a Moroccan history teacher. Hassoun studied English Literature in Casablanca  and continued her university studies in Tangier where she joined the program of Hotel and Tourism Management. Then she continued her studies in France where she gained her master’s degree.

In 2007, Hassoun won Star Academy 4, making her the first female winner. Her performance of Fairouz’s “Baghdad” earned her 54.8% of the vote which enabled her to reach the finals. In late July 2009, Shatha achieved her life dream and the dream of fans when she went to her country’s capital Baghdad and sang there in two big charity concerts for the children of Iraq, the first one in Al-elowea club  and second one in hunting club, then she hold a press conference in Baghdad where she talked about her joyful to be a first Iraqi and Arab singer who visited Baghdad after war 2003 despite the unstable security in Baghdad and Predict murder in 2009 from one of Astrologer.
Hassoun is working on her album that is going to include songs in the Iraqi, Lebanese, Gulf, Moroccan, and Egyptian dialects. Her main goal is—as she said in an interview—to represent her beloved country Iraq in the best way. Hassoun is also filming her latest music video for the song “O’d 3rgoub” with Yehya S’ada in Beirut and she is touring in North America, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait , Sweden and Egypt (Wikipedia).
